SOLACE
GRIOGAIR’S UPCOMING STUDIO ALBUM
Listen: Solace
4-Track Preview
Solace is the forthcoming album from Scottish-Gaelic artist Griogair—his most expansive and personal work to date. Rooted in ancestral memory and shaped by a decade of cultural reclamation, it weaves together traditional Gaelic song, cinematic production, and a deep sense of return.
This private preview features four unreleased tracks from the album, offering a first glimpse into a body of work that is both ancient and utterly contemporary.
Collaborators include Speech (Arrested Development), Alan Cumming, Julie Fowlis, Kalifa Kone, and the Gyuto Monks of Tibet. Solace is ancestral music reimagined—genre-defying, soul-infused, and grounded in Gaelic cosmology.

ABOUT GRIOGAIR
Griogair Labhruidh is a fearless and genre-defying Scottish artist whose voice has carried the spirit of the Highlands to millions around the world. He is widely recognised for anchoring the sonic identity of the global phenomenon Outlander, where he wrote and performed the Gaelic version of its iconic theme song and appeared alongside Sinéad O’Connor on the official soundtrack. A powerful vocalist and original songwriter, Griogair draws from deep-rooted tradition to craft bold, contemporary works—merging Gaelic language with hip-hop, soul, and cinematic production to create a sound that is emotionally raw, politically resonant, and unmistakably his own.
His forthcoming album Solace is a landmark self-produced work, shaped through years of personal transformation, cultural resistance, and high-level international collaboration. Featuring Alan Cumming, Speech (Arrested Development), Julie Fowlis, and more, it moves between deep memory and modern urgency—rooted in land and lineage, yet unafraid to break new ground. From Glastonbury Festival with Afro Celt Sound System to orchestral stages in London and beyond, Griogair has emerged as a singular creative force—redefining what it means to carry tradition into the 21st century.
